Introducing the Panasonic GH5 cage by Thor Video. This solid and durable cage is composed of an all aluminum construction. Outstanding features for the cage are an open grip for reduced weight and for ease in mounting components such as memory cards and power solutions. Also the unique cheese plate design leaves the top camera dial unconstructive.

Features

Open Grip

The open grip provides for ease of access without interruption to camera operation. Provides for unobstructed operation of the cameras top dial via a cut out. Cage allows access to record button and shutter.

Cable Clamp

Locks HDMI cable firmly to prevent damage to the camera port through sudden stress. An Allen key is included to adjust the cable clamp position.

Compatible Plate

The plate on the cage is compatible with various tripod heads. The cage can be mounted directly onto a large selection of tripods with a secure fit.

Detachable Wood Grip Top Handle

The top handle is enhanced with a wooden grip for a comfortable grip, as well as improving the look and feel. The non-slip materials have a softer feel and provide a better handle than more usual metal or rubber grips. Also this top handle is detachable allowing for easy dismantling for transportation.

Hot Shoe Mount

A hot shoe mount is included for various accessory mounts such as a microphone or small light. An Allen key is supplied for assembly.
